Following both sets of his grandparents who moved to Sarasota, Florida in the 1960’s, John’s parents also moved to Sarasota in the 1970s. As a Florida resident, John attended college at the University of Wisconsin at Whitewater where he graduated with a Business Administration and Marketing Degree.

John had two highly successful uncles that were real estate brokers and a big influence on his career. His uncles mentored John in the real estate business. John’s first experience selling real estate was in 1982 when he successfully marketed and sold his first home under the guidance of his uncle. As a Real Estate “Sales” License, John became an Accredited Home Staging Professional (ASP) which was an invaluable education for helping his real estate seller clients achieve the highest price possible for their homes. In 2004, John received the highest Florida Real Estate License, the Real Estate “Broker” License. Subsequently, John started and sold his first real estate brokerage while working as a Broker in St. Petersburg, Florida. Since that time, John created two other real estate brokerages and an affiliated International Multi-Media Marketing Company to present local real estate listings to over 100 countries around the World and fulfill the diverse needs of his real estate agents and the more specific needs of their real estate clients.

John is an avid boater, a member of the Sarasota Yacht Club and enjoys boating with clients, friends and family. John also enjoys reading, writing, coaching and mentoring the growing number of real estate licensees working in his companies. John is a Certified Waterfront Home Marketing Specialist, Accredited Home Staging Professional and a Guild Member of the Institute For Luxury Home Marketing.
